Born and raised in Berkeley, California, I have spent time in Boulder, Santa Cruz, Berlin, and Oxford before settling in Oakland.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Society and Environment from UC Berkeley, a master’s in Environmental Geography from the University of Oxford, and have worked in journalism, marketing, and environmental education.

I am ever curious about nature-society relationships and hope to apply my love of qualitative data and storytelling to bettering environmental health.
